Arranging the Funeral
Once we have been contacted we will take preliminary details in respect of you and your loved one. Should your loved one have passed away at home or in a nursing or care home and the doctor has attended, we will usually arrange to convey them to our Chapel of Rest within the hour. Alternatively should you and your family members wish to visit your loved one at home before they are collected by us, we will call at a time that is suitable to you.
At a mutually convenient time to you and your family an appointment can be made for the funeral arrangements to be put in place; this can either take place at our premises or in the familiar surroundings of your own home.
Once we have completed all the arrangements we will forward to you a written confirmation of the day, time and place where your loved one's funeral is to take place and an estimate of the funeral costs.
